The Glamour Of A Day Spa

What man or woman wouldn't love to take a day off and go to your local day spa to be pampered and spoiled? The services they provide these days are so fabulous. There is something for everyone and for every budget.

You can go to spend a lunch hour to just have a neck massage or maybe a manicure. Or you can go for a few hours or a full day and have a massage, manicure and pedicure. You can even go for a weekend and spend it in a beautiful country Inn where you are pampered to the max. Although, that would be a several day spa!

These packages also make an amazing gift for someone special. Last year, I purchased an Ultimate Glamour Package for my mother at a local spa. She had the whole kit and caboodle and was extremely grateful. First, they had her change into a soft, cozy robe and slippers. She had a facial which included a facial steam to open the pores, followed by exfoliation of the face and neck. Treatment concluded with a therapeutic mask and hydrating moisturizer. The also did a complete make-up application but not until she was done with the other services. The other pampering included a very relaxing Swedish body massage followed by the application of hot stones, while they played very calming music in the background. She was then led to a room where they served her an Organic Strawberry and Almond Salad and a glass of Champagne. By the time they set her up to do a manicure and pedicure, she said it felt like she was in heaven.

There is not a city in the world that does not have a Spa within 15 miles. You can spend a day there for your own pleasure or you can get a gift certificate for any occasion to give to a loved one. I also know of girlfriends that have spent a day having themselves all primped for weddings or proms. The services can include; all hair services from a cut to extensions applied, permanent makeup applications, eyelash extensions, every massage imaginable, airbrush tanning or tanning booths. This is all in addition to the many usual services you will find at a spa such as the numerous facials, massages and nail packages.

I don't care what budget you are on or what luxury you are looking for, a day at a local spa is a fabulous way to spoil anyone. You can go online and find one near you or anywhere you are traveling. Just remember to leave all your troubles and worries at the door step and enjoy your day...you deserve it!
