However, this method is starting to cause more and more damage to the environment, because space is running out to store the garbage. The trash is sometimes burned at these locations as well, which causes harmful chemicals to be released into the environment. Using recycled materials also reduces the use of harmful chemicals in products, such as CFCs, which are present in many Styrofoam products.
