When choosing what kind of new baby flowers to send, you can never go wrong with a bouquet of bold, contrasting colorful flowers. It's a fun way of saying congratulations and wishing them all the best with this new journey in their lives. For this occasion, you might want to try putting the flowers in a Baby Wagon container, or in a ceramic stork, booties, baby blocks and more to simulate childlike playfulness. Most florists have designs especially for this occasion. Anything that represents children or infants will be suited to go along with your flowers.
If you know the gender of the baby beforehand, try picking out colors that would suit the occasion. New baby flowers that come in blues, violets and greens would be more suited for baby boys while pinks, lavenders and yellows would be better for girls. If you want to send flowers but are not aware whether it's a boy or girl, send flowers with more neutral colors. Flowers that come in yellows, whites and oranges would be fine for either boy or girl. If a couple happens to have twins, there is really no need to buy two sets of floral arrangements. It is perfectly acceptable to send just one floral arrangement to the family. Also, you may send flowers even when the family has already left the hospital to go home.
Additionally, there are no "masculine" new baby flowers or "feminine" baby flowers. Roses, tulips, chrysanthemums or daisies would work just as well for a baby girl or a baby boy. To make your congratulations even more meaningful, you may add other touches to your floral gift. Send a gift pack that comes with a cigar, a teddy bear and balloons along with your floral arrangement. Don't forget to include a note. Usual notes would be "Congratulations! It's a girl! or "You two did a fine job, he's beautiful!" Sweet gestures like that will surely make any parent beam with pride.
If you can't give the new baby flowers in person, enlist the help of the local florist. They can arrange delivery nationwide, to any hospital or home. Just follow the standard guidelines when ordering from a florist. Give them the specific details of the occasion, such as whether it's a baby boy or girl, the name of the hospital, the name of the parents, or just the mother and if possible the room number. Don't forget to ask the minimum fees and any additional charges you might incur. If you have no idea what to give, ask the florist's in-house professional florists. They are experts in flower giving and will know just what to send to the family.
Some say flowers are the new baby gift you can see, touch, and smell!
