Nervous Breakdown is also termed as mental breakdown. There are many causes which contribute to the problem of nervous breakdown. But social isolation is regarded as one of the major causes of nervous breakdown. There may be several reasons behind social isolation. It hardly matters, as the damage caused by this factor is quite irreparable.

In extreme cases of nervous breakdowns, a person might experience a combination of immense pain and hopelessness. They might also see suicide as a relief from the agony of their life. For those who contemplate it, it is not always be a serious thought. The fact that they can casually think about such a grave act is what makes them dangerous for themselves and in general for society.

When thoughts of suicide are closest to being implemented, the human in consideration decides that there is more good in committing such acts than bad. A thinking that is geared towards believing that the future has nothing to offer is characteristic attempters. Such people show no inclination towards the nitty-gritty's and mundane chores of life which previously mean meaningful. For example, lack of musical interest in music lovers and deterioration and neglect towards relationships.

No reasons to live
People having a nervous breakdown to the extent of contemplating such acts lose all the reasons to live and more importantly one doesn't see them improving in the near future. Another complication is that such people have tremendous difficulty talking about their problems with even the closest of close people.

Therefore, identifying such potential candidates becomes very hard as on their surface they seem pretty normal albeit a bit and quite. Death is scary for almost everyone but nervous wrecks visualize it as comforting and as an ideal escape route. It is an ideal escape route according to suicide thinkers, as they won't have any responsibility to shoulder and no problems to confront.

Reasons to die
Incurable physical pain or emotional anguish or prolonged intense stress often becomes unbearable over long periods of time leading the sufferer to look to permanently end it. Convicts are probable candidates to commit suicide during nervous breakdowns as they are mortally scared of the monotony of imprisonment.

Also, potential attempters are people with a history of mental disorders like anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress disorders, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Other reasons leading to extreme nervous crashes and subsequently to suicides are debilitating injuries like burns and paralysis, poverty, sexual abuse, homelessness, harassment, social seclusion, and money grievances.
