Internet Affilate Looking For Failures

In the past, people fought to keep their personal failures private and out of the public domain. No-one wanted their affairs made public especially issues such as unemployment, bankruptcy, homelessness or criminal convictions for that matter.

Perhaps it is a sign of the times now, what with foreclosure and repossession rates at all time highs, it seems everyone has or has had some serious financial or other personal issue to overcome.

Nowadays, it seems a common theme with motivational speakers and the internet advertising world to emphasise these issues whether they went bankrupt or were living on food stamps. Examples include Matt Morris, before founding Success University (SU), was living out of his car and penniless. Johnny Wimbrey, SU's National Training Director, after suffering with an alcoholic parent, was raised in a shelter for abused women

It seems these issues make for good marketing - these stories show how regular folk, like you and me, have the ability to pull themselves up from desperate situations, with no specialised training and few resources, to achieve success - making their victory all that much sweeter. Their dissatisfaction has become their motivation and their examples inspiring others to think if they can, I can too!

Now you don't need to have a crisis such at the above examples to achieve success. You may well have everything in control, have a place to stay and be covering all your bills. Similarly, I am not advocating you run off and purchase all of these speaker's products to attain the same success. But there are a few emotions that, alone or together, seem to make affiliates on their road to financial independence, all the more open to follow their sponsor's instruction, certain they will see then through:

1)Disgust - At your wit's end, you have reached rock bottom, living pay check to pay check or hand to mouth and seeing those you work for getting richer while you sliding backwards.

2)Desire - You fight to hide the fear in your face when the car starts acting up or something packs up with the boiler - you want a better life for you and your family, free of these basic issues.

3)Discipline - ensuring that you use the hours you have to the maximum effect. Ensuring you spend the time to learn - you stop learning - you start sliding backwards. I have heard it said rather you pay the price of discipline than the price of regret.

4)Desperation - You must change things - commuting to work is soul destroying, you sick leave is used up by May. You buy lottery tickets hoping and dreaming to it hit it big and escape but not actually believing it will ever happen for you.

Does having your own business appeal to you or at the very least interest you? Then do something about it. Don't just think about it. Start by committing your time and the skills you already possess. What are you afraid of? Failing? If you never try, your already half way there!
