A Clever Way To Make Money With CPA Marketing

As an online marketer, I am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest CPA offers. (If you don't know what a CPA offer is, it stands for "Cost per Acquisition" - you will get paid for collecting consumer information for off line and online companies.)

The types of information CPA campaigns require varies per campaign but it's usually the basics: name, mailing address, email address, and phone number. If you can get that information from visitors to your site, you can earn anywhere from $1 to $300 per lead. These types of campaigns are pretty common and can be found within most affiliate networks.

Every marketer loves lead generation because it's much easier to convince a person to input their information as opposed to their credit card. Not too mention, most purchase conversions will range from 1% to 5% (and 5% is an exceptional conversion rate) while CPA conversion is usually much higher - anywhere from 15% to 40% (I have had campaigns convert as high as 43%!).

Here is a summary of what you do: purchase a booth at your local swap meet or county fair and hold a raffle for a free television set. How much can you make? Anywhere from $5 to $100 per person that signs up for your raffle.

To get the television for free, visit your local big screen dealer and tell them you are holding a raffle. Explain that you will plaster their store logo, address, and phone number all over your booth and the official raffle sign-up form. More than likely they will give you the big screen for free. If they refuse, just keep visiting other television stores and you will find one that is willing to give away a TV for some advertising.

Now that you have your TV, rent a booth at a local fair. Try to get one for at least two consecutive days if possible (the more exposure the better).

When you create your raffle sign-up form, you will include at least a dozen offers from your online CPA network. On your form, you will need to indicate that "by signing up for this raffle, you agree to be contacted by the following merchants regarding their products and services."

Very important! You must use "incentive approved" campaigns when performing this type of setup! If you do not use incentive approved campaigns, more than likely you will not get paid for the leads you generate.

To improve conversions (sign-ups!), hire a couple of girls to solicit people and ask them to enter the drawing for a free television. Pay the girls a flat rate for the day plus an extra buck for every successful sign-up.

When the fair is over, take all your leads and submit their information into your online CPA landing page. You can easily make up to $30 per lead if you do things right. After you enter the lead information, you will need to hold the raffle and give away the television set.

Prior to setting up this type of marketing campaign, you must speak with your account manager. You need to ask him or her to waive the "verify email" requirement for the CPA offers you wish to use. Explain to your manager exactly what you intend to do and he or she can help you find incentive offers and perhaps increase the payout.
