Now, let me tell you something where almost 95% of everyone that is pulled over goes wrong. When you are pulled over the officer usually approaches your car and asks you for your drivers license and registration. Right when you hand over this information to the officer do you know what the next question he or she will ask you is? Well, it’s almost always “do you know why you were pulled over”? You may just tell the cop you were pulled over because you were speeding or failure to maintain in your lane etc...because you were nervous. The best thing you could EVER do in this situation is to tell the police officer you have no idea what you have done. When he writes you a ticket, you need to take that ticket and say thank you and drive away. Do not act like an idiot, it gets you no where and won’t pay off in court. Sometimes if you act professional when you are pulled over the officer may just let you off the hook right away and won’t even issue you a ticket.
If you do get a speeding ticket and have to go to court you can definitely win. If you admit guilt to the police officer right away at the scene you may not stand a very good chance of winning in court. If you are going 25 or over and get a speeding ticket you could even right a traffic ticket letter to get your driver license reinstated if you give the court a good enough reason and a sincere apology. Of course you only do this if somehow you DO lose in court.
When you go to court please remember one thing:
1.You are here to fight speeding tickets, not make friends. What do I mean by that? You want to act professional in court, yes ma’am yes sir answers but you want to act stern and not be treated inferior. You need to take a stance, get your story straight, and fight until you are proven guilty. Have you ever heard that saying innocent until proven guilty? Well I am sure you have and that is exactly what you are.
Good luck in getting out of your traffic tickets!
