However, it is easier understood with an example:
Patricia and Yvonne are both working for the same company. They both have exactly the same qualifications and work experience. They are both in line for a promotion, but only one of them can get it. They both have to submit an application, and they both have to go to an interview.
Patricia thinks: "I am not good enough. Yvonne is more liked in the office. She is also more outgoing and have more friends. I will never get it." Yvonne on the other hand is thinking: "I love what I do, and I enjoy helping people. I will be able to help more people in this role. Of course I am going to get it. I am excited about it." Who do you think got the job?
To set the Law of Attraction in motion for your life, and attract your dreams and desires, you first have to set your goals. You cannot know whether you achieved your goal if you don't know what it is. Goal setting is an important part of the Law of Attraction for this reason. Apart from goal setting, you need to have a positive attitude. You need positive thinking to set the Law of Attraction in motion. That means your self-talk needs to be positive. Instead of saying in your mind: "I am not good enough, I will never make it" say: "This is great! I love it! I will make it! I am great! I am successful!" Try to experience the feeling that you will have when you have what you want.
Your subconscious mind does not know the difference between your feeling and the real thing. The universe acts on the vibration of your feeling, and the next thing, you have what you want; You have successfully attracted the result you wanted. When you are positive, you expect positive things to happen; You expect joy, you expect abundance. If your mind expects something, it will find it.
How do you know this? I can hear you ask: I have countless examples. Look at Thomas Edison; he expected to make a light bulb that works on electrical power and that gives artificial light. He worked and worked and worked, and never gave up. Why? Because he expected it to work! When asked by someone why he kept trying and trying can't he see that it will never work? His answer was: "I tried a thousand times before it worked. And no, I didn't fail 999 times I found 999 ways that it didn't work"
Henry Ford expected to have his car turn into a product that every household needs. "You're mad" his advisors said: "It will never happen" Do you know what happened in this case? Helen Keller, who was deaf, blind and dumb had a teacher called Anne Sullivan. She wanted a way to communicate with Helen, and also didn't give up. She kept trying and trying. You know what happened in that case, don't you? Helen Keller became a great person, thanks to her teacher who did not give up on her.
The composer Beethoven was deaf at the end of his life. His occupation was music. A deaf composer? That is unheard of! He expected to be able to write without hearing the music in reality. He wrote an entire symphony without hearing it physically. Are you convinced yet - No? How about this one: The Wright brothers expected to make something that can fly. "You're mad" everyone said. They became the laughing stock of everyone. Humans can't fly! Accept that and get over it! Did they? No! As a result we can fly today. Anywhere we want.
Each and every one of the examples above have people who expected a certain result. They set the result they wanted as their goal. It seemed to not be possible to achieve the result. They achieved it after keeping on trying. You can have the same results. Set your goal. Decide what you want. As you can see from the above examples, it doesn't matter that your goal does not seem possible. Find ways to make it work. If it doesn't work one way, try a different way. Don't listen to those who say it won't work. Always keep your mind positive; always keep your mind on your goal. Keep on keeping on. The Law of Attraction works! Always.
