In order to use hypnosis to get your mind and body de-stressed, you have to make sure that there are no distractions for at least an hour. Turn off your phones and advise family members and associates not to disturb you for the moment. Find a safe and comfortable location where there is no clutter and the temperature is comfortable. There is not one ideal position to follow. What is essential is that you are comfortable with your chosen position. You may chose to lie down or be seated; whichever is allowable for as long as you are comfortable.
5-Step Simple Self-Hypnosis
1. Focus and take 10 slow and deep breaths with your eyes closed. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth while reciting the word “Relax” repeatedly.
2. Create a mental picture of yourself on top of a stair of 10 steps and a door right at the bottom. Take yourself slowly down to each of the 10 steps and feel yourself relaxing with every step you take.
3. Upon reaching the bottom after completing the 10 steps down, create an image of the most beautiful place where you want to relax. It can be something out of your fantasies or something related with previous experience.
4. Involve more senses as much as you can. Look around you and pause to listen to any sound that you can hear. Touch objects and smell the scent of the flowers around you. Develop all these in your mind and enjoy the experience using all your senses.
5. Explore your mental paradise and enjoy the experience for as long as you can.
The effective way to use hypnosis to get yourself on the right track is anchored in your ability to free your mind of negative thoughts. Your ability and powers are limited by your mind and everything is possible for as long as your mind believes it is possible.
