NCAA March Madness Arriving

The selection for the NCAA March Madness tournament takes place this Sunday and will be live on TV for everyone dieing to get this tournament underway. I look forward to the March Madness tournament every year and this year is another great one.

I will be routing on the Georgetown Hoyas for the second year in a row and although they didn't win last year I could see that changing this year. The Hoyas have quite a few seniors who will be playing there last March Madness and you better bet that's enough motivation for many people.

Kansas and Louisville are my two other top picks this year. I think Louisville could surprise enough people and March right to the finals before anyone knew what hit them. Louisville is a speedy quick team and can drop threes like none other and will be a great team to watch progress in the tournament. As for Kansas they've had a great team for the past couple years and this year they look to win it all. They are ranked tops in the country for most things so it wouldn't be a shock although the march to the madness is always one full of surprises.

I'll be looking for Baylor to be my upset special team who comes out of nowhere and shocks the country with a championship. Very unlikely you may say but I've seen crazier things happen. Even last year there were some awful upsets being played everyday of action and it was intense.

The NCAA March Madness tournament is one of the most electrifying experiences anyone can take part in. The gyms are massive and the amounts of people who watch these games are unheard of. The tournament is broad casted in different countries around the world and millions tune in to watch the action.

With under a week now before the whole things gets underway there is a ton of excitement built up inside of me and I'm sure almost everyone who enjoys basketball. The tournament is a showcase of talent and I absolutely couldn't picture myself watching anything else throughout March. I will be watching all the games from my big screen TV and getting filled up on junk food and pop.

The match-ups and rankings are being decided Sunday and this will be the kick-off to a great month to come. I hope the Hoyas can grab a weak first round opponent and be able to move forward quickly, the last thing I need to see is them draw an upset special team who knocks them out the first round. The Hoyas are a big strong team though with Ewing Jr. and Hibbert they shouldn't face to many problems in the first two to three rounds of the tournament.

After that though it's no hold bars and anything can happen that's why I love watching these college basketball games so much more then most NBA games. The only better NBA games are when it's in the play-offs and even most times then it isn't nearly as exciting.
