If it is the latter case, then he surely loves you, for he has taken the pains to know what you like and has taken the time to hunt down those items to gift you with. There are some people who are very shy and even though they love you a lot they just do not have the courage to tell the same to you. These persons can easily be recognized by their fidgety behavior. In these cases it is up to you to take the initiative and make him feel comfortable in your presence.
