Faith In The Written Word

Many people have established a powerful Faith in the written word because they have read the words in the Bible from cover to cover a number of times. The Faith came over time because there was so much information to digest and the words were written so long ago in a style that is sometimes hard to follow. The Faith concepts have been provided to people by God since the beginning of time.

The Faith in the written word is established in black and white. Some people prefer to develop their own style of faith in the written word by reading between the lines of text as well, which might make the written words bend slightly to their liking. The person that wrote the words on paper was not the person who spoke the words so long ago, and we take it on faith that this is so because He said so.

The Faith in the written word is a foundation that many Christians rely on as a source of strength and the promise of a bright new future. Life is a journey that everyone born into this world must take, and the journey after death is talked about in detail with Faith in the written word derived from the mouth of God. Those that are conceived but not born are by Faith delivered into God's arm for safekeeping.

The Faith that Christians put into the written word of God is strong because God is strong. Our Faith might waiver a bit when we are heavily burdened by worries, tragedies, or the amount of death that we are exposed to, but the Faith will be sustained through the assurances that are found in the written word of God. The Bible serves to provide proof of Faith and to serve as directions to guide Christians to a better life.

Faith tells Christians that the guided path to a better life might not be one on this Earth, but one that will take Christians to a kingdom paved with streets of gold. The time spent on Earth is meant to test the level of Faith. Faith in the written word tells us that our days are numbered so all Christians try to live each day to the fullest and to glorify the name of the Lord wherever possible.

Faith in the written word requires Faith in unseen things and one of those unseen things is the image of God. This is a blind Faith that every Christian entrusts to their higher power and some view this blind Faith as a startling revelation that some people could not stand the brightness of the spirit of God if they were tasked with viewing it. Their Faith might be wavering due to personal influences in their life but with continued Faith in the written word, the outside influences will fall short of the truth that is in the written word of God.
