Know More about the Virgo Characteristics

If you are born between 22nd August and 23rd September you are bound to be a Virgo, the sun sign bearing the symbol of the virgin. People born under this zodiac are a strange bundle of contradictions. They might be completely ignorant or lacking in simple everyday common sense, but will turn out to be surprisingly knowledgeable and good at things which they particularly like or find interesting.

A child-like purity colors their vision of the world, as a result they are often gullible and can't distinguish between good and bad or when they are being taken for a ride. They are often book-smart but street-dumb and their grasp of things is decidedly slow. Although a Virgo gets taken in by appearances, don't deceive or exploit their naive ways, they never forgets though their heart is brimming over with forgiveness.

Positive Sides

A Virgo is also matter-of-fact, precise, helpful and innocent by nature and observant. Virgos like to be organized in their minds, are ruled by an inner logic, like to reduce chaos into order, are very ambitious and are eternally questing for more knowledge. They have sensitive souls and are tireless thinkers.

Their hyperactive cognitive faculty can never be silenced. Being an earth element they are always grounded, untiringly hardworking, level-headed and always striving to improve them.

Negative Sides

But on the flip side a Virgo is a perfectionist, a worrier, fussy, harsh, overcritical and conservative. Virgos are extremely finicky and their perfectionist trait hampers their sense of enjoyment. Skepticism, coldness, inflexibility, an interfering nature are some of the deplorable drawbacks one finds in a Virgo.

Many Virgos aspire towards independence and achieve it but the ones who are not so evolved find it difficult to get along in life, unless a kindly one lends a helping hand to them.

Virgos are always harshly critical of themselves, dwell too much on the past and over things that can't be helped and this confuses them and hampers their progress in life. So they often feel exhausted without even displacing a finger. They can be easily taken advantage of.
