Spirituality Information - Journey In The Fields Of Forever ( Part 66)

“He thinks he’s still sleeping,” said a female voice.

“How are we going to get him to the meeting?”

“They are expecting him any moment now,” replied a male voice. “The gathering was agreed upon. It cannot be changed now.”

There was something vaguely familiar about the voices but I couldn’t say where I’d heard them before. Then it struck me. They were here, Gideon and Marla. I jumped up to greet them and to tell them how glad I was that they’d come. It never occurred to me to question anything that was happening since, as far as I was concerned, this was a dream and almost anything can happen in dreams.

With one bound I was in the sitting room facing Gideon and Marla. “Hi!” I said, “what are you two doing in my dream?”

“Don’t you ever get tired of asking that same question, John?” asked Marla. It wasn’t as if she spoke words. And, yet, I understood all that she was saying for her voice was clear in my mind. “Remember,” she continued, “no beginnings, no endings, no limitation to our friendship.” She walked up to me, threw her arms around my neck and gave me a big hug. Gideon patted me on the back, then sat down cross-legged in the chair across from the coffee table.

“It must be important,” I said, “for you to be in my dream. This is a dream, isn’t it?”

“It’s like a dream, John,” said Gideon, “but not quite. You don’t need words to communicate in this state. Intentions carry your meaning much more clearly than mere words. Your body is resting peacefully in bed and your consciousness is here with us. Most everyone does this, but generally they don’t remember. We’ve done it before with you. You’ve only forgotten. It’s a most efficient way to communicate. Some of your scientists call it out-of-body travel. But we’re here to discuss more important things.”
