Women, though not all, love wearing make-up especially when attending parties and special gatherings. However when they get home, because of tiredness, they sometimes forget to take them off and just head off to sleep or sometimes opt to take it off the next day thinking that it wouldn’t do them any harm. But the truth is, it is very harmful to the skin and is important to remove especially when oil based make-ups are used. Failure to do so can attract dirt, clog skin pores and the worst of all cause skin breakouts. That is why it is not enough to just wash your face with water. If possible, wash it with a facial cleanser and still use a make-up remover afterwards. Doing this could ensure that the make-up is completely removed from your skin and also could keep your skin healthy.
One of the quickest and easiest ways to transform your look is with the use of a lipstick. You do not need to partner it with your nail polish or wardrobe but you might want to consider the clothes that you are wearing. It helps. It is important to take note that your lip color should compliment the rest of your make-up and most especially your skin tone.
People who have an olive complexion should opt to use lipsticks with warm undertone to make their skin look brighter. These colors could be light brown, raisin brown and brown reds. However, people with fair skin color should opt for warm peach or pink undertones and people with pale complexion could use just almost any shade and use dramatic shades. Moreover, dark complexioned people look best with lipsticks that are deep red with dark blue or purple undertones or lipsticks that are deep brown with purple, wine or blue undertones.
One of the most helpful cosmetic ever made is the concealer. Yep, you read it right. That is especially true if you do not have a flawless complexion like other women. It is helpful to cover dark circles, pimples, disguise broken capillaries and even out your skin tone. For best results, it is better if you will use a stick concealer rather than creamy and liquid concealers. That is because liquid and creamy concealers are quite oily and has the tendency to slide and glide off while stick concealers stay put. Also, choose a concealer that is closest to your skin color to prevent from looking super white. Start applying the concealer from the center of the spot and gently move outward. While the concealer is wet, you can apply a loose powder and then let it dry. After drying the concealer you can then decide whether you will use a foundation or not.
